The Provincial Government has decided to increase the minimum wage.

The wage increase will be 22 cents per hour, making the new hourly low $10.72/hour.

The province says due to the cost of living increasing, the Government decided to increase the wage so workers don't fall behind.

The Government decides once a year on whether or not to increase the minimum wage by June 30th.

More than 23,000 people in Saskatchewan earn minimum wage for their employment.
