Environment Canada has issued another severe thunderstorm watch for the Humboldt area.

Meteorologists are tracking the storm, which they say has conditions favorable for the development of severe weather, including strong wind gusts, hail and heavy rain.

A low pressure system is moving over the central part of the province, which is expected to trigger thunderstorms over eastern areas during the afternoon and evening.

Conditions can also be favorable for funnel clouds, according to Environment Canada.

On Monday night, a severe thunderstorm cell passed through the area.
