Employees are being called back to work to the Mosaic Potash Mine in Colonsay.

330 people were laid off in July when the company decided to shutter the mine amid falling prices and low global demand but they are now returning on a staggered basis depending on their job titles and the work that needs to be done to get production back underway.

A company spokesperson said their entire workforce will be back on the job by December 5th. Production is expected to be going again early next year.

Originally they weren't expected back to work until January.

About 10 employees have said they won't return to work at the mine for various reasons.
