With the dog days of summer upon us the streets are just a little quieter in and around Humboldt these days as many people venture off on their vacations.

In the city, the staff at the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery provided some fun for anyone out and about this week.

Saskatoon based artist Grant McConnell spoke at the gallery on Thursday night regarding his latest exhibit currently on display.



The museum hosted an "ice cream day" Saturday with taste testing and demonstrations on ice cream making.



A & W held their annual car show Thursday night, Bolt FM's Calum McAnally was there and put a video together, you can see that here.


Wheeler's Wholesale played host to a bar-b-cue Saturday with the proceeds benefiting the local Special Olympics team.
