A Saskatchewan author will be dropping by the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery.

Loretta Polischuk author of the trilogy 'Travelers to Shandor' will be on hand for an author reading Thursday night.

They will also be officially opening some new exhibits explained the Museum's Cultural Programmer.

"We will be having the official opening of our current exhibit Creatures from Sky to Sea," said Leah Terry. "We will also be opening our local perspective exhibit as well and that's Through an HCI Lens, it's an exhibit of photography from HCI students and staff."

The event is open to the public and is free of charge explained Terry, "Just show up, doors open at 7 o'clock, reading is at 7:30 so drop by anytime."

They will also be serving refreshments to follow the program.
