The Humboldt and District Museum staff recently organized a day time photo shoot from the top of the water tower and now they are returning to the land mark.

This time people will have a chance for a night time photography opportunity overlooking the city on Wednesday night for $10.

Cultural Programmer Leah Terry says the first session went over well.

"That event went really well, we had a number of people who came out to take pictures not only of the inside of the water tower with the staircase but also up top. It's a wonderful view of Humboldt so we had people come with their cameras and take pictures and everyone seemed happy."

Terry says they have had residents inquiring about the option.

"We've had a few requests from people who thought it would be a nice idea to go to the top of the water tower when it was dark to take pictures of the night sky."

People will be allowed in from 7pm-9pm.

"We do still have registrations open, we can take a maximum of nine people to the top," Terry explained. "Right now we do have some registrations so if you are interested I would suggest you call us ASAP and we can get you in there and signed up."

The Museum is closed until Tuesday but Terry said you can still call 682-5226 and leave a message to register or send them a message via email or Facebook and they will contact you Tuesday afternoon.
