Volunteers are a huge part of any organization, especially at the Humboldt & District Museum.

On Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM, The Humboldt & District Museum hosted an open house for citizens to enjoy.

The open house was organized to reconize the Museum's patrons and volunteers throughout the year of 2018. People celebrated by taking in snacks, beverages, door prizes, and activities.

"Our volunteers are the reason that we can actually do as much as we do and have as many projects on the go as we do," said Katherine Harrison, Cultural Programmer with the museum.

An open house was not put on last year but made a come back for 2018.
