The Humboldt and District Museum is once again holding an event Sunday for people to get a different perspective of the area's places of worship.

From 1pm-4pm ten different churches and worship halls will open their doors to the public.

"Last year we did it in conjunction with an exhibit we had on which focused on Saskatchewan churches," explained Supervisor Jean Price. "It was kind of fun last year, we got a pretty good reception so we thought we would do it again."

She says there is a number of aspects that makes this an interesting event.

"We're sort of looking at them as sort of architectural pieces and the design of the interior. Every denomination has something a little bit different that you wouldn't necessarily know. A lot of them have beautiful artwork inside, beautiful wood working, they are worth going and seeing."

Maps are available at the museum which will be open on Sunday afternoon.
