Police hit the jackpot near Viscount on Saturday, when they recovered $30,000 in stolen items from an acreage near the community.

Members of the Saskatoon crimes task force and break-and-enter unit searched outbuildings and sheds on the property.

In total, they say two Polaris snowmobiles, a flatbed trailer, generators, tires and a snowblower were all recovered during the search.

It is believed that all items were stolen from rural or city properties.

They noted that a 36-year-old man, who is already in the correctional centre awaiting trial on other charges, now faces two additional counts of possessing stolen property.
