A preliminary hearing has been set for 31 year-old Taylor Wolff who is charged in the death of Watrous man James Carlson.

Carlson's body disappeared from the Watrous area in 2008, an arrest was made by the RCMP in June of last year.

They apprehended Wolff near Moose Jaw and subsequently charged him with second degree murder.

He appeared in a Saskatoon court room Friday, he will return on September 11th. During the preliminary hearing it will be decided if there is enough evidence to proceed with a trial.

Carlson's body has not been found, Wolff is free on bail, he is living with his mother in Watrous under strict conditions opposed by the courts.
