The Punnichy RCMP are investigating a case where a customer at a local store used a counterfeit bill.

Around 1 o'clock in the afternoon of May 24th, a man described as Caucasian, between 30-40 years old, 6'2", 230 pounds with light coloured hair and scruffy reddish facial hair entered the business and paid for his goods with a fake bill.

He was wearing a short sleeved striped polo style shirt, a grey baseball hat, jeans and black boots. He also had tattoos covering both arms.

They are also searching for a second suspect and their vehicle. The second man, who didn't leave the car is approximately 5'10", 175 pounds with dark unkempt hair and dark facial hair. He was wearing a dark red t-shirt and blue jeans.

The vehicle operated by the suspects was a wine coloured four door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla. No plate was obtained from the vehicle.

Punnichy RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying these suspects.
