Another flood recovery centre is opening in Saskatchewan on Tuesday.

The Town of Elfros will be able to access information from the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program following flash flooding in the small community of 100 on Saturday.

"Any resident whose property has been impacted by the recent flooding and severe weather in the area of Elfros should visit the recovery centre and speak to a PDAP official," Government Relations Minister Jim Reiter stated.

Hours for the recovery centre will be 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday and 9:00am to 2:00pm on Wednesday.

"PDAP staff will be on-hand to guide residents through the claims process as well as answer any questions they might have about the program."

Heavy rain saw spots of Highway 16 near Dafoe and Elfros flooded on Saturday due to the excess amount of precipitation. It has since cleared in both spots.

A state of emergency was declared and is still in place for Elfros.
