The province has released first quarter losses for school divisions across Saskatchewan.

Among the incidents was a stolen laptop in the Horizon School Division.

The report says the incident occurred on September 17, where a staff member's laptop was stolen from their vehicle.

Police were contacted and the device was disabled. Staff were reminded not to leave division owned assets in their vehicles or public places.

An incident was also reported from the North East School Division, where a playground equipment supplier failed to provide equipment.

A deposit of $37,025 was made, with the equipment expected to be delivered within a six week timeframe.

After a demand letter was sent to the business, they agreed to provide equipment to the school combined with an existing deposit.
