As day four of the Bronco Bus Crash hearing wrapped up on January 31 Judge Cardinal reserved her decision until March 22.

Crown Prosecutor Thomas Healy explains what all goes into sentencing.

"The court has a particularly difficult job as there is no sentencing precedent in Canada for a case such as this. Sentencing is an individualized process that's based on many factors. In making its decision about the appropriate sentence the court will have to consider many factors in determining a sentence that is proportionate to the gravity of the offence and Mr. Sidhu's degree of responsibilities. The court will have to weight the grave consequences of Mr. Sidhu's criminal actions, the aggravating and mitigating circumstances of the offence including the early guilty plea, and his expression of remorse."

Healy also took time to thank those who completed victim impact statements and letting their voices be heard.
