Police were in for a surprise Sunday when they were led on a chase of six teens in a stolen truck that ended near St. Denis.

The chase began after the stolen truck was spotted traveling west on College Drive in Saskatoon.

One of the teens was detained in the city after attempting to get away on foot. The truck, however, continued on, with police attempting to stop or slow it down with stop sticks.

Despite flattening one tire with the sticks, the truck continued to Warman Road and eventually ventured east on to Highway 5 where it was finally stopped after missing a turn near St. Denis.

During the chase, the vehicle occupants continuously threw objects at the police as they were trailing behind the truck.

In total, six teens - three boys and three girls - all between the ages of 13 and 18 are facing multiple charges.
