Humboldt finest figures skaters graced the ice over the weekend for the Skate Humboldt Ice Show.

Figure skaters aged 3-17, including the tiniest CanSkaters and more experienced StarSkaters, showcased their skills on the ice at the Elgar Petersen Arena on Sunday, March 17th.

The theme was the Beatles and the show was a wrap up to a successful skating season.

"It's super exciting, it's to showcase all of the hard work that our skaters put in throughout the year. Especially the older StarSkaters, they spend hours on the ice perfecting their jumps and spins and it's important to perform. All of our skaters are very excited," said Jesse Green, the Ice Show Coordinator.

The event was attended by a silver donation that would go back into the skating clubs and the city provided a great turnout to support all the skaters.

"It's awesome for all the skaters who worked so hard to see all the people out here supporting them. It was a fantastic end to the season."

Just over 100 skaters through all ages participate in the ice show.
