Saturday was all about snow in the town of Naicam.

The Naicam Snowblasters hosted their 24th annual Poker Rally. Starting at 9 am, there were approximately 200 people in attendance for the event.

Gathering in the morning for breakfast, snowmobilers could register and participate in an all-day rally around the community of Naicam. There was also a raffle for a small snowmobile taking place right before supper at 6 pm. The Naicam School gymnasium was host to many hungry, eager sledders ready to hit the trails.

Gord Gilbertson, President of the Snowblasters organization, was very pleased with the turnout and was very happy with the support for the club and community.

"It's great to see, not only the support we get from the attendee's but from the businesses as well. We are so thankful to all the businesses who donated spanning from Saskatoon to Prince Albert, without them none of this would be possible."

Gilbertson also talked about the great lengths some traveled to attend the rally.

"I was really surprised and very happy, we've had some coming from as far as Regina. This just shows the great support from our community and beyond."

All proceeds from the day are going towards club costs, for trail grooming and maintenance.
