The snow shovel may have to be utilized once more in the Humboldt region as a spring snow storm hits the area.

Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for Tuesday in East Central Saskatchewan according to Meteorologist John Paul Cragg.

"We're looking at a snow fall of around 5cm for the Humboldt area though Humboldt is right on the northern edge of the strongest snow so it could a little less, it could be slightly a little bit more but we're looking at that 5cm range and then things calm down a little bit until snow picks up again in the morning.

Slippery conditions should be expected in the morning on Wednesday said Cragg, "snow and potential freezing rain in the morning but then that snow and freezing rain will change over to rain during the day tomorrow so not a great couple of days."

A high of plus 6 is projected for Wednesday afternoon.

Cragg said there is some good and bad news for the weekend, "things really warm up on Saturday with a strong southerly flow where we're forecasting temperatures getting up to a high of 11 degrees but with that is going to come a lot of winds and the potential for another stormy day Saturday night through to Sunday."

Thursday and Friday are both looking clear and sunny with highs of two and three.
