Hundreds of people lined up on 7th Avenue for a bite to eat at Anytime Fitness in Humboldt to raise money for the STARS Air Ambulance on Wednesday.

Burgers and pop were worth 5 dollars, and the first 120 guests also received a donut. The team here in Humboldt at anytime fitness has currently raised $5,600 so far this year and is looking to reach $10,000. Adrianna Wormworth, with anytime fitness, feels the team each has a reason to raise the money.

"Given what happened in Humboldt in April, I think it's so important more now than ever for Humboldt to represent at this event."

This is the first year the Barbeque has taken place in Humboldt. The community is also looking to raise much more money at Ride The Hanger in Saskatoon. 120-speed bikes start in the helicopter hanger and teams ride for 4 hours to raise money.

Wormworth is looking to hold a Barbecue again next year.
