A 32 year-old Hudson Bay man is facing a first degree murder charge stemming from an incident on Friday.

The RCMP responded to a home on Hudson Street in the small north-east Saskatchewan community Friday evening where they found 27 year-old Stacey Lewis dead.

She was allegedly shot to death.

Steven Lee Lewis is currently in custody and will appear in Melfort court Tuesday morning.

The RCMP report that the two were known to each other.
