With two weeks until Christmas Day, Mother Nature is making it not feel so much like Christmas.

After an upper ridge brought in plus degree temperatures, don't expect it to cool off a whole lot in Humboldt and area.

The temperature will hover around zero for most of the week, with a mix of sun and cloud expected throughout the work week as well, as the middle of December approaches.

"Enjoy these temperatures if you like warmer than normal temperatures," says Environment Canada's Amanda Prysizney. "If you prefer more wintry conditions, hang in there. It will come eventually."

The average daytime high for December in Humboldt is around minus-10 to 12 degrees, with lows into the minus-20's.

Last year at this time, highs were between minus-15 to minus-25 with gusting winds of over 30 kilometres.
