The City of Humboldt has represented the words 'Humboldt Strong' and will continue to do so.

With the guilty plea, Jaskirat Sidhu put forth this morning, the City, families, and all those involved now have another step forward with closure and healing. 

Humboldt's Mayor, Rob Muench, with his reaction.

“With Mr. Sidhu’s choice to plead as he did, it will allow justice to take its course. Everyone has been through a great deal these past nine months and I’m hopeful this will be another step towards closure for all involved.”

The City of Humboldt is thankful for the support from across Canada and beyond and will continue to move forward.

The sentencing date for Sidhu is January 28th.
