Bruno is the Grand Prize Winner in the 107.5 Bolt FM "Great 8" contest.  A $5000 grand prize was happily accepted and the money is earmarked for the artificial ice project in the community.

Yesterday at the rink, Nutrien Lanigan and Bolt FM presented the town of Bruno with the prize money from the Great 8 contest.

The"Great 8"is a contest run by 107.5 Bolt FM, where 8 communities are nominated to win a $5000.00 prize and the money is used to help one of 8 communities in the area. The selection of the winner is determined by a public vote and, in the enb, Bruno was selected as the winner and took home the grand prize. The money is going towards their artificial ice at the skating rink in Bruno.

"It means a lot to us. The artificial ice committee is raising money to put ice in here and it's a big deal. For the town of Bruno to receive this money and go forward with the artificial ice." said Bruno's Mayor, Dale Glassman.

The entire artificial ice project is estimated to be $400,000.

Congratulations Bruno!
