The third production for the revamped Humboldt Theatre Club is in the books.

Two shows were held on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26 at the Community Gathering Place.

"We had a sold out night on the second night and about three quarters on the first night," noted Director Sarah Miller.

The cast took the stage to perform The Boardinghouse.

"It was a comedy that took place in a beach house and a crazy person basically digging for treasure in the basement," said Miller.

Each night featured appetizers prior to the show for each attendee, followed by dessert during the intermission.

In the past, the group has offered a full dinner theatre style, and Miller says the new format was well-received.

She added that they hope continued productions bring more interest and allow for future growth.

"We hope that having theatre in Humboldt will bring more arts back to the area, and we hope that Humboldt can once again have a theatre so we can have a permanent home."

Ten members from the area made up the cast: Katherine Draude, Alanna Bergquist, Tyson Greff, Annette Magus, Jesse Green, Steve Patton, Yvonne Richardson, Katie Yamniuk, Joseph Yamniuk and Felisha Benitez.
