A stolen vehicle, tires and some damage to a vehicle are all being looked into by Humboldt RCMP.

During the overnight hours of Thursday, January 26 turning to Friday, January 27, police report that at least two suspects stole a 1998 Dodge Caravan from a garage on the 600 block of 5th Street.

The van, which is green in colour, has Saskatchewan plate 003 IHL, with "Wes's Handyman Services 231-4159" on the window in blue lettering.

Half a block away in the same time frame, tires and chrome rims were stolen from a black 2009 Pontiac Torrent (pictured above), which was parked at a local business on 7th Street.

It is believed that the two incidents are related.

Police are also investigating a case of vandalism, after a hole was drilled into a vehicle's gas tank.

Between Monday, January 23 and Friday, January 27, the hole was drilled into a white 2008 Ford F-150, which was at a local business on the 200 block of 8th Avenue.

The gas was collected in a pail and used on a vehicle waiting at the scene.

Any information on either crime can be directed to the Humboldt detachment or Crime Stoppers.
