The Government of Saskatchewan has announced third quarter gaming grants through the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Grants are supported through groups and organizations that conduct charitable gaming throughout the year. Those games include bingos, raffles, breakopen tickets, Texas Hold'em and Monte Carlo.

"Our government is pleased to acknowledge the fundraising efforts of volunteer groups and organizations by providing them with this additional financial support," stated Minister responsible for SLGA, Jeremy Harrison. "The grants will help groups and organizations further contribute to local programming that benefits everyone from children to seniors."

More than 700 organizations across Saskatchewan received grants for this quarter, which are equal to 25% of net revenues raised.
