With the civic election coming up in October, the town of Watson has announced the names of those running for mayor and council positions.

Norma Weber is seeking re-election in the mayor's chair, as Islay Ehlert has announced she will also run for mayor.

In the council race, Dale Lung, Myrna Lung, Glenn Pastl, and Judy Schmid are all wanting their positions on council back.

Running for council for the first time is Kevin Frerichs, Mandy Green and Kailyn Simon.

The civic election is scheduled for October 26th.
