The Wadena RCMP are investigating a fatal vehicle/pedestrian accident that's claimed a child's life.

Around 9 o'clock Friday morning they were called to Kylemore after a three year-old girl from the Fishing Lake First Nation was struck.

She was pronounced dead at the Wadena hospital.

No name has been released.
