Wakaw's Curtis Vey and Melfort's Angela Nicholson are free on bail while their sentences are appealed.

Both were found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder as they plotted to kill each others spouses but since their September 2nd sentencing in Prince Albert they have both appealed.

They were released from custody last week on a number of conditions including not having contact with each other.

During the trial, the crown had argued that the two lovers were going to drug Nicholson's husband and make him disappear while Vey's wife would be killed in a house fire.

There's no word when their appeal will be heard.
