A visitor restriction that's been in place for almost three weeks at the Kelvindell Lodge in Kelvington is over.

An outbreak was declared at the facility on February 17th after symptoms associated with respiratory illness were reported among several long term care residents.

Those included congested coughs, fatigue, aches and pain.

In total, 13 residents and four staff were impacted by the outbreak, among those, two cases tested positive for Influenza.

An outbreak is declared when a minimum of three residents, patients, clients or staff display symptoms of respiratory illness in a twenty-four hour period.
