Changes to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture's extension services has led to the closure of seven satellite offices.

Among the closures is the office in Wadena, as well as Meadow Lake, Lloydminster, Shaunavon, Moosomin, Estevan, and Assiniboia.

The closures are a result of a survey sent out to farmers about how the province can better manage services for producers.

Spokesperson Krystal Aulie says that while the offices are closed, there will be no job losses, as an internal shift will move people around.

Ten regional offices will remain open, including the one in Watrous. Other regional offices are located in Prince Albert, Outlook, Kindersley, Tisdale, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Weyburn, North Battleford, and Swift Current.
