On Saturday, the Wadena Lions Club is holding their annual Gun & Hobby Show.

Bernie Rutko is the Coordinator of the event, he says they've been holding the fundraiser for a number of years.

"The show got started back in the 1990's, we were looking for a fundraiser event and we had quite a few different people interested in quite a few different products and we decided to host a gun and hobby show and from there it kept on growing."

They have expanded the event into a family fun day with something for everyone.

"The ladies can look at cosmetic products that we have, jewelry we also have, we have antique guns more for the men to look but some of the women are actually starting to buy some of the guns we've noticed. From there we just keep going and adding on to our show."

The show runs from 10am-5pm at the Wadena Community Legion Hall, they have 82 tables sold to vendors.

They will have a concession as well with the Wadena Army Cadet Corps 2271 working the kitchen.

Admission is $5/adults, students are $3.

All the funds raised stay in Wadena, the Lions help out numerous organizations in the area every year.
