Humboldt Sobeys hosted the Heart And Stroke Foundation's Big Bike Event.

Members from Humboldt Sobeys, Conexus, and Curves took a ride on the 29 seater bike and road through the streets of Humboldt.

All the riders received pledges and did fundraising to give back to the Heart and Stroke Foundation so the foundation could use it towards their mission.

Tanya Murphy, Community Engagement Coordinator with The Heart and Stroke Foundation spoke about what the mission of the foundation is.

"The mission is to support life-saving research."

Hockey Hero, Big Bike, and Jump Rope For Heart are just a few of the fundraisers that the Heart and Stroke Foundation put on throughout the year.

"It's a great team building opportunity for organizations," Murphy noted.
