The Watrous Bull-a-rama, put on by the Kinsmen, was a great success Saturday night.

The arena was the place to be to see junior roughstock riding as well as competitive bull riding.

To begin the evening there was a moment of silence to pay respect to those lost in the Bronco bus accident.

Prize money was awarded, as well as the trophy all the riders wanted, the belt buckle.

Each ride is based on 100 points, 50 for each the bull and the rider.

In the long go, 1st place went to Micheal Ostashek from Edson, AB. riding 'Heaven Sent' taking home $1,229.00.

The overall winner was Wacey Finkbeiner from Ponoka, AB. taking home $3,396.00.

His first ride was on "Act Naturally" earning him 84 points. His second ride on, 'Dark Sarcasm' was a great ride with 87 points. Earning a total of 171 points for the night.

The event finished with a dance with music by Nice Horse. All the funds raised from this event will be going towards the Watrous Day Care.
