P.A.C.T  is an organization within Watrous Elementary School that puts the focus on making sure kids are fed.

Parents and Children Together is a hot lunch program put on by parents of Watrous Elementary School. They volunteer their time and efforts to ensure lunches are provided throughout the school year at numerous events. The proceeds of the lunches stay within the school, with this year's total of $2500.00 going towards iPad Mini's for the elementary school.

"Well, the P.A.C.T program will put on many hot lunches throughout the school year, and they take the proceeds and leave it up to us at the school to decide what area will need the most help. We decided this year that the addition of iPad Mini's to our school would be the most beneficial," said Pat Borsa, Principal of Watrous Elementary School.

Borsa went into detail about the importance of technology in school, as well as how much this donation means.

"Technology is taking over, and we use technology on a daily basis in our building. When you have a school of about 242 kids, if you can have more and more students on their own devices, it will definitely be a huge help."

Borsa gave thanks to Renee Ulmer and Lisa Oaks, as they were the main volunteers of the P.A.C.T program.
