Golfers in the area can get a good round of golf in while supporting a great cause on the weekend.

The McNab Golf Course is holding a golf tournament to support the Watson Regional Daycare Centre on Sunday.

Board Member Shaunna Galacz explains how you can register.

"You can either come down Sunday morning at 9 AM to register, or you can call the golf course, that is 287-4240 to register."

For $50, golfers receive a game of golf, supper, and support a good cause in the process.

Galacz gives us a few details on the tournament itself.

"We're having our third annual golf tournament, all proceeds are going to the daycare in Watson."

Galacz says the need for this facility is overwhelming.

"It definitely takes the whole community and surrounding. Our daycare not only has kids from Watson, but  the surrounding areas. Quill Lake, and those small towns too, and we don't have a lot of daycare options, so the need was always there. It took probably eight years to be there, but the need was always there."

The tournament is a shot gun start at 10 o'clock.
