The winter storm is expected to hit overnight in Humboldt and area.

The storm has been expected to come into the area since Sunday morning and according to Environment Canada it could bring some treacherous driving conditions.

Dan Fulton with Environment Canada tells us what we can expect in Humboldt and area.
"The worst will be to the east, what we're looking at is snow to develop on Monday and we're looking at an accumulation of 5-10 cm. That will vary depending on the exact track of the system, but I think that will be the maximum you will see in that area." The storm itself will be at its worst the further East you go towards the Manitoba border.
