Kyler Fischer led the way going 3 for 5 at the plate as the East Central AAA 15U Dodgers toppled the Sask Five Giants last night. Fischer doubled in the second, and singled in the first and fourth innings on the way to a 12-7 final in favour of the Dodgers.

Everitt Solar doubled while Jaxson Schleper opened with a single in the first to get the Dodgers' night underway.

The Giants didn’t remain sleeping as they took the lead in the bottom of the first after doubles by Ryder Collins and Rhett Cawood both doubled, each driving in a run. An error cost the Dodgers a third run and the lead.

The turnaround, thanks to Fischer’s and Solar’s performances at the plate took the Dodgers to a 6-3 lead in the top of the second. Michael Moorman’s single in the top of the third extended the lead by a run.

Reid Griffith got the win for the Dodgers, going seven innings.

The Dodgers are back next Wednesday with a repeat matchup against the Giants at James Korte Field.
