It was a second-time victory for Terri and JR Tarrant as they dashed towards the diamond ring.

In the final round of tasks and activities at this year's Diamond Dash, the Tarrants won the bragging rights and the $5600 Canadian Maple Leaf Diamond Ring from Diamonds of Detroit on Saturday.

The largest scavenger hunt to hit Humboldt was back again after a five-year hiatus, and the Tarrant's competed against several other teams of two in the hopes of keeping their title as Diamond Dash champs.

"It was kind of mixed emotions. We didn't think we were going to win, and then it just kind of happened. We're really excited to win," says JR after they were crowned the winners once again.

The married couple had just gotten engaged three weeks prior to their first Diamond Dash in 2013, and as a result, have now amassed three different diamond rings.

JR says he and Terri plan to keep their latest sparkler (and have since kept the other two), and said they might even give it to their baby daughter when she grows up.

When asked if he would do more dashing towards diamonds in the future: "I would do it tomorrow if it was happening (again)," JR said.
