The playoff matchups are decided in the SJHL, and it took until the last minute of Saturday night's game to sort out the first round.

The Humboldt Broncos will face the Weyburn Redwings in Round 1 after a decisive 4-1 victory on Saturday night over the visiting Flin Flon Bombers.

The Bombers opened scoring when Bomber Anthony Piccininno put one by Benjamin Motew, but it was the last goal the Broncos netminder would allow in the regular season as Motew turned aside 35 of 36 shots on the night.

Connor Miller got the equalizer late in the second, and the gates opened in the third period with three more goals, a short hander by Maddox Amaral,
an insurance marker by Matthew Van Blaricom and an empty netter by Chase Cooke who had an outstanding night on defense.

The Broncos' win was doubly sweet after the Friday night 6-2 win against the Bombers. Saturday's victory locked up third place in the League and top spot in
their division.

Playoff schedule for round one will be released shortly.
