The City of Humboldt has released additional information on the reopening of its civic and leisure facilities. In a document linked on its website, the City defines which services and facilities are currently open to the public and which ones are opening soon. Additional listings note those areas that remain closed pending additional government health announcements.

The phased approach undertaken by the Leisure Services Department allows for preparation of each of the areas for public safety.

Target date for the reopening of the Uniplex common areas and the administration offices to the public is July 6. That’s the same date projected for the opening of the fitness centre. Other gathering areas of the Uniplex and Food Services remain closed.

Humboldt District Museum and Gallery are slated to reopen on July 7, while the Historic Water Tower will remain closed. The Reid Thompson Library is offering curbside pickup; patrons can contact the library for additional information.

A complete listing of available venues and services along with compliance information is at humboldt.ca.
