Summer Sizzler 2016 is going to be featuring a number of fun and exciting events, but nothing quite as unique as the Summer Sizzler Comic Con.

Over 33 vendors will fill Elgar Petersen Arena. Jeff Burton a local teacher who is debuting his comic book at the show is quite pleased with the variety of people attending, "there's going to be free comics, artists doing sketches, vendors who are featuring some really unique stuff like retro toys and lots of costumers. Stop by and get your pictures with your favourite superheroes."

Jeff Burton's Aurorman, a comic that he helped create, write and star in will be debuted. Fingers crossed that none of Aurorman's villains will make an appearance.

Jeff says there are a few remarkable pieces of comic book memorabilia that folks will definitely want to see, "there's a couple big things that we've got lined up. First of all is the exclusive variant cover to the all new classic Captain Canuck #1 which features Captain Canuck and Aurorman as well as the Humboldt and District Gallery."

There is a great list of attendees including locals, Jeff Burton, Elaine Will, Chris Bernhard and many others!

The Comic-Con wil take place Saturday on the floor of the E.P.A from 12pm-6pm. Admission is free of charge.
