Humboldt Broncos Head Coach Nathan Oystrick is 4 games into his coaching tenure with the team and he has accomplished a few firsts already. First training camp, first win, first (and hopefully last) puck to the head.

In the Game on September 19th in Wilcox, Saskatchewan against the Notre Dame Hounds, Oystrick was on the unfortunate receiving end of a clearing attempt courtesy of his own team, which struck him right on the top of the head.

"5 stitches to the top of the head, but I think I've been hit harder," said Oystrick. "We actually watched the clip on video and the puck ricochet about 10 feet up off my noggin, but I'm alright, thanks for asking," he added.

Coaches often say to get your head in the game... Maybe too literal this time.
