The Christmas crowd was out in full force on Sunday as the Holiday Hometown Market made a return to the Humboldt Legion Hall. This year’s offerings were nothing short of amazing and crafters and artisans set up to display their ways and happy shoppers made their way through the aisles.

There was always an opportunity to take a break and have a delicious, prepared lunch with seating available in the club room. Particularly impressive this year was the array of knitting and stitch ware, from toques and mitts with classic designs to blankets, quilts and throws emblazoned with all the colours of the holiday season.

There was a strong contingent of wood workers on hand with custom bowls, cribbage boards and dice game platforms for the gaming crew. As always, a great line up of locally produced goods with the ever-popular Ukrainian kitchen offerings.

The Hometown Market went on Sunday from 10 – 3 pm. Head to DiscoverHumboldt.com for more seasonal markets in your area.
