The Festival of Wreaths continued this weekend, and Saturday patrons had an extra treat as Humboldt pianist and composer Ian Eliot stopped by to tickle the keys. While bidders browsed, they enjoyed the wide range of Elliot’s talents. From contemporary pieces to time honoured classics and even the challenging themes of Vince Guaraldi’s heralded soundtrack to “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” Ian covered the best with his own style.

The Festival of Wreaths continues next week, and next Saturday, Dale Avision of Clarinet Expressions will stop by for his classic Christmas contributions. The entertainment runs from 2-4 pm next Saturday. Meanwhile the Gallery is open throughout the week, and visitors can renew their bids live or online at humboldtmuseum.ca/auction.
