The series of rotating walkouts announced by the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation will have different impacts for students in Humboldt today.

Students who attend St. Augustine or St. Dominic Schools in Humboldt will still be in class and all buses for the two schools will be running. Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools confirmed that teachers in the Catholic schools in Humboldt are members of the Saskatoon Teachers' Association, and not the Horizon Teachers' Association, who are among the first organizations designation for rotating walkouts.

If the impasse between the teachers and the government is not settled, that likely means the continuation of job action and the possibility of a future walkout for Catholic school teachers in Humboldt.

Horizon Teachers' Association teachers will however be back on the streets of Humboldt in their continuing efforts to see the government bargaining team return to the table. Teachers will be visible on Main Street and on 9th Street in the area of MLA Donna Harpauer's office.
