With Transform SK stopping in Humboldt, it had a lot of people thinking "What would make Saskatchewan better?"

One of the questions asked to participants was "if you could have a day as Premier, what would you do?"

And well, that question had me thinking, and the gears started turning and I came up with my own crazy idea.

It may not be possible in one year, never mind one day, and it might seem really Elementary School of me, but I would have a Professional Hockey Franchise based somewhere in Saskatchewan.

When you think about it, this is a pretty hockey-crazy Province, with five WHL teams and 12 SJHL teams (including the Humboldt Broncos), and countless players that have made their way to the NHL or AHL that call this Province home.

So, wouldn't it make sense to have a team where hockey is very popular? I mean, if Las Vegas can have a team, why can't we? (Never mind, if WINNIPEG can have a team...)

What are your thoughts? If you have the keys for a day, what would you change/do?
