Telemiracle 47 is just around the corner, and it sounds like it will have some new tricks up its sleeve this year.
“We are super excited. We are going to have a bit of a new take on our stage this year. Very excited to showcase that bit of a changeup, but of a modernization to the stage, and just very excited to debut that at the start of the show,” says Scott Lamb, the Chair for TeleMiracle 47.
Lamb says the stage will be set up in Prairieland Park again.
“Bit of a venue change compared to the past, but we were there in 45 during the COVID year, and we’re very happy to be working with them in 47 again.”
Over 70 performers will take to the stage this year, says Lamb.
“I went to all the auditions, and it was unreal good. What’s really cool is any money that Sask. Talent brings in this year, Nutrien will be matching, so that is awesome, and thank you so much to Nutrien for that.”
People from all across the world can tune in to watch all the Saskatchewan talent TeleMiracle has to offer. Some performers even hail from Humboldt, says Lamb.
“You can go live on CTV on Saturday evening there, and if not, you can always tune in on TeleMiracle.com and watch the live stream.”
The show begins at 9:00 on February 25 and wraps up at 5:00 on the 26.
“I’m just glad that I’m able to live in a cool place like this province, and we help each other out as neighbours. It’s very uniquely Saskatchewan and it's something everyone here should be proud of.”
