Today Bolt FM and Discover Humboldt are saluting the community of LeRoy!

In 1903 the first settlers in the Municipality of LeRoy were brothers Alvin and Gordon Gregory, originally from Mount Forest, Ontario. They set out from Saskatoon by covered wagon and traveled on the Carlton Trail to Humboldt. They ventured east past Iron Springs, later called Watson, before the coming on the C.N.R. They settled on Section 16-35-19-W2, about four miles east of where LeRoy now stands.

LeRoy is a town with a big spirit. The community has been through its fair share of hardships over the years but has always bounced back.

  • The business community is strong in LeRoy having a central location to many of Saskatchewan's communities. The BHP Jansen site being close by is a highlight for many upcoming jobs in the area.

With a K-11 school, reverse osmosis water throughout the town, multigenerational care home/ daycare, and outgoing individuals who care about each other, the community of LeRoy is a great place to live.
