Nothing To Do? Go To St. Brieux

A 45-minute drive is a short price to pay when the reward keeps you busy all summer. 

St. Brieux is a beautiful town located north of Lake Lenore. 

When I go to St. Brieux to visit my cousins we never find ourselves bored. There is always something to do, whether its knee boarding, water skiing, surfing, tubing, fishing, swimming, boating, biking, golfing, the list goes on and on! 

One of my favourite things to do is go out into the middle of the lake on the boat and jump into the water to cool down from the warm weather! It's so relaxing! 

As the sun sets people are still out on the water surfing and boating. 

I went surfing for the second time in my life and I got up on my first try this time around, I was so excited! Sure I had a couple of wipeouts, well maybe more than a couple, but it was such a cool experience, although I am not too sure how my cousins have such great balance to surf for a long period of time and even do tricks!

I recall this one wipeout I had where I was falling off the surfboard and got a lot of air and decided to dive into the water with grace instead of falling. That one hurt.  

St. Brieux Lake is about 3 miles long and is connected at the southern tip to Lake Lenore Lake. Both lakes contain Whitefish, Northern Pike, and Perch fish, so if you're into fishing St. Brieux is a great place to go. 

As well as a beach and park, St Brieux has a couple of nature trails that are beautiful to bike or walk down! I personally love biking down them and racing with my cousins. 

If you're ever looking for something to do drive the 45 minutes and go to St. Brieux for endless amounts of fun and activities!
